Sleep Disorders
The Florida Hospital Center for Sleep Disorders helps individuals with sleep disorders achieve more normal sleep patterns. Florida Hospital is home to eight American Academy of Sleep Medicine board-certified physicians who will meet with you to discuss lifestyle factors that may affect sleep patterns, such as exercise, nutrition and sleep levels. At Florida Hospital Center for Sleep Disorders we want to help you achieve optimum health by creating a stronger, healthier mind, body and spirit. That means helping you create a healthy balance of activity, nutrition, spiritual fulfillment and rest.
To diagnose a sleep problem, a sleep study may be required. Sleep studies usually require an overnight stay. A specialized team monitors and records a patient’s sleep patterns, heart activities, breathing and body movements. The results allow the board certified doctor to determine the proper diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan. Working alongside nutritionists and fitness experts, the physicians help patients get back to getting a good night’s rest.
