Rehabilitation

Florida Hospital offers one of the most comprehensive neurological rehabilitation programs in Central Florida, which includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for adults and children with brain injuries, stroke, spinal disorders, and tumors.  Florida Hospital Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine is accredited by the most prestigious organizations, including the Joint Commission and the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The rehabilitation program of the Neuroscience Institute offers one of five clinics in the United States that specializes in biofeedback as a behavioral learning technique.  This allows patients facing paralysis from neurological disorders to achieve increased function.

Support Group

We also provide rehabilitation support groups for caregivers and family members who care for those suffering from a neurological disorder. Please join us as we share and learn so that we can provide better care for our loved ones. Support groups are on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 3:00pm-4:00pm and are held at Florida Hospital Rehab and Sports Medicine, 5154 Adanson St., 2nd Floor Conference Room.
