Dance for Parkinson’s is a dance class for those with Parkinson ’s disease that is based off the Dance for PD® model started by the Mark Morris Dance Group in Brooklyn, New York. Instructors will use a variety of dance forms, including ballet, folk, tap, jazz, theater, improvisation and choreography to address concerns such as balance, flexibility, coordination, gait and depression.
