April is Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month

The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) recently launched the Aware In Care campaign in conjunction with April being Parkinson's Awareness Month with the goal of raising awareness about the disease and providing resources to those who need them.
As a specific effort to help people suffering from Parkinson's to have a better stay when at the hospital, the NPF is providing free kits through their website which includes a bag, hospital action plan, ID bracelet, medical alert card, medication form, fact sheet, reminder slip, magnet, and thank you card. Parkinson's Support Groups
The Florida Hospital Parkinson's Outreach Center offers free support groups to those suffering from the disease as well as for their caregivers. To learn more, click here.
